AI locates algae in the ocean!

Castus Technologies utilized artificial intelligence to locate over 70,000 square meters of seaweed off the coast of Florida by analyzing ocean and wind data alongside satellite imagery, before confirming the locations using drones. The technology could be expanded to applications such as tracking oil spills and maritime search and rescue.
