Adobe Brings Marketing Tasks to ChatGPT with AI Agents

Adobe has launched the "CX Enterprise Coworker" plugin inside ChatGPT, transferring agentic marketing tasks—such as audience selection, customer journey design, content creation, offer determination, and channel activation—into a single interface that remembers session context.

Adobe was chosen as a launch partner for OpenAI's enterprise application platform, allowing customers to apply their OpenAI committed spend toward licensing the service. An integration between Adobe Workfront and OpenAI's agent interface is also scheduled for October 2026.

According to The Futurum Group, the number of early adopters has exceeded 2,500 customers. The alliance is described as a distribution strategy rather than merely a feature launch, as Adobe reaches its customers directly inside the tool they are already using instead of waiting for them to visit its own platform.

This trend reflects the transformation of AI tools into a unified workspace for marketing teams, with software companies competing to integrate their services into conversational interfaces.
