MNT Investments is offering 320 million shares of MNT-Halan, representing 20% of its issued capital, with an option to raise the total offering to 400 million shares, or 25%, as announced by the company. The offering will take place via a public offering in Egypt and a private placement to qualified investors.
The offering price will be set through a book-building process, expected to be completed during October 2026, subject to approvals from the Financial Regulatory Authority and the Egyptian Exchange. EFG Hermes is acting as the international coordinator and manager of the offering.
The company reached a valuation of $1.4 billion in June 2026 following the first tranche of a funding round that raised more than $70 million. The offering comes at a time when the Egyptian market is seeking to attract new technology and financial companies.
The offering represents the largest listing on the Egyptian Exchange in years, giving it significance beyond its size, as it measures the market's capacity to absorb large companies and provides an indicator of local and foreign investor appetite. Investors are awaiting the book-building results as they will determine the final price and demand for the stock when trading begins.
