Vinci Airports Traffic Drops 1.5% in September Amid US Decline

Passenger traffic at Vinci Group airports declined by 1.5% in September 2026 compared to the same month last year, according to a statement by the group. The number of passengers in the third quarter reached 93.5 million, a decrease of 0.6% compared to the corresponding period.

Airports operated by the group recorded 252.53 million passengers in the nine months ending September 30, down 0.2% from the previous year. This means the monthly decline did not significantly alter the group's cumulative performance.

September's drops included a 10% decline in the United States, 7.7% in Japan, and 23% in Cambodia. In contrast, Hungary posted growth of 8.8% and Serbia 6.3%, mitigating the impact of the downturn in some markets.

Vinci operates airports in several countries, and September's performance was mixed across its networks. The drop in the United States and Cambodia points to pressure on certain international routes, while growth in Central Europe supports the group's overall results.
