Accor and City View Sign Agreement to Develop 282 Pullman-Branded Residences in Dubai

Accor and City View Developments have signed an agreement to develop the "Pullman Residences and Offices Dubai Meydan" project in the Meydan Horizon area. The project features 282 branded residential units ranging from one to four bedrooms, as well as branded offices on the same site, catering to residents who work in the same location and providing them with workspace close to their homes.

The two companies describe the project as Accor's first globally offered branded offices for sale, and as the world's first branded office concept for an international hospitality brand. The project combines residences and offices within a single destination carrying the hotel brand's name, expanding the brand's scope from hotel rooms to owned real estate.

The project is scheduled to open in 2029. The trend toward branded units reflects an expansion in the real estate model associated with hotel services, as buyers receive management and operation from a hospitality brand rather than managing the unit themselves. This includes reception, maintenance, and day-to-day building operations.

The project comes at a time when branded residence developments are expanding in Dubai, with several international hotel brands offering units bearing their name. This model targets buyers seeking hotel-grade services in their units and offices, and management that saves them operational hassle, in exchange for higher prices than traditional units in the same area.
