National Bank of Kuwait achieved a 3% growth in its net profit in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the announced financial statements issued by the bank.

The bank attributed this growth to the expansion of its loan and credit facility portfolio, as well as a higher net interest margin amid the prevailing interest rate environment during the period.

The bank maintained its asset quality alongside a decline in the non-performing loan ratio, while its total assets rose during the first half compared to the end of 2025, reflecting strong operational momentum.
