UAE's Vitalls Raises $1.5 Million from EST Growmore
UAE healthtech Vitalls has secured a $1.5 million commitment from EST Growmore as anchor investor, with an option for $1 million more.

UAE-based digital health startup Vitalls has secured a $1.5 million investment commitment from EST Growmore, the investment arm of Singapore-based EST Group, as an anchor investor in its seed round.
The agreement grants the investor an option to inject an additional $1 million, without disclosing the company's valuation in this round, according to Wamda.
Founded in 2023 by Mehdi Bouchenak, the company is building an AI-powered digital health passport to store medical records and share them across borders.
The product targets traveling patients and residents living across multiple countries, allowing them to consolidate medical history in one place instead of relying on paper files or separate systems in each country.
What do these terms mean?
Seed round: Early-stage funding that helps a startup build its initial product and validate its idea before scaling.
Anchor investor: A lead investor who commits a significant amount to a funding round, granting credibility that attracts other investors.
Digital health passport: An electronic profile that compiles an individual's medical records and allows them to be shared with healthcare providers across borders.
