PepsiCo and Frito-Lay Sue Major Sugar Refineries Over Alleged Price-Fixing Collusion

PepsiCo and its subsidiaries Quaker and Frito-Lay, along with Mexico's Bimbo, filed a lawsuit in a federal court in Minnesota on July 24, 2026, accusing major US sugar refineries of forming a cartel to inflate prices.
