Beltone and Amtaar Plan Real Estate Fund with Issuances Reaching EGP 2 Billion
Beltone Asset Management and Amtaar Capital plan to launch a multi-issuance real estate fund in Egypt with a total target of EGP 2 billion, and a first issuance between EGP 500 million and 700 million.

Beltone Asset Management, a subsidiary of Beltone Financial Holding, and the Egyptian real estate platform Amtaar Capital plan to launch a multi-issuance fund with a total target issuance of EGP 2 billion (approximately $38 million), according to the startup news platform Wamda.
Beltone will handle the establishment and management of the fund, as well as selecting the real estate assets in which it will invest, while Amtaar will provide the digital distribution channel through which it will reach investors, according to the same source. This divides the roles between investment management on one hand and digital distribution on the other.
The fund's first issuance is expected to be valued between EGP 500 million and 700 million, with the remaining issuances to be offered in subsequent stages, giving the fund flexibility to expand based on market response and the pace of demand for the product.
The fund is currently described as "under establishment," and neither the supervising regulatory authority nor a specific date for completing its establishment or offering it to investors has been named, meaning its regulatory and timeline details remain undecided.
What do these terms mean?
Multi-issuance fund: A fund offered in stages, issued in successive tranches rather than a single large offering.
Fractional real estate ownership: A system allowing the purchase of a small share of a property instead of owning it in full, lowering the barrier to entry.
Exchange rate: The value of one currency relative to another, used here to convert the target amount from Egyptian pounds to US dollars.
