US-based Souffle Therapeutics raised $135 million in an oversubscribed Series B round led by Juvia Group to develop RNA therapeutics.

US-based Souffle Therapeutics raised $135 million in an oversubscribed Series B financing round led by Juvia Group, according to Boston Life Sciences Times.
New investors participating in the round included TCG Crossover, BB Biotech, Fidelity, and Balyasny, alongside existing investors such as Amgen Ventures, ARCH, Bessemer, and Temasek.
Founded in Boston, the company will use the proceeds from the round to advance three major RNA therapeutic programs into clinical studies, relying on its cellular delivery platform named "REMEDY".
The size of the round reflects investor confidence in RNA-based therapies, a field that enables targeting diseases through a mechanism different from traditional medicines, though it still needs to prove its efficacy in trials.
