Egypt's EGX30 Index Rises 0.20% to Surpass 55,277 Points with 31.9% Gains Since January

The main index of the Egyptian Exchange, EGX30, rose by 0.20% to close at 55,277.03 points, amid continued investor interest in blue-chip stocks supported by positive economic indicators.

With this, the index achieves exceptional annual gains of 31.9% since the beginning of the year, in a performance that leads regional exchanges and reflects a tangible recovery for the Egyptian economy following years of currency and inflation pressures.

Analysts attribute this strong performance to exchange rate stability, declining inflation, and foreign investment inflows, alongside structural reforms in the energy and infrastructure sectors that contributed to improving the business climate.

Financial experts believe the index has the momentum to continue rising, provided that economic policy remains stable and the inflow of remittances and foreign investments into Egypt continues.
