Nvidia Unveils 'DSX POD': 14-Day Setup at Prepared Site and Early 2027 Availability
Nvidia has revealed 'DSX POD' for modular data centers, which could cut installation time to 14 days at a prepared site, with availability scheduled for early 2027.

Nvidia showcased a reference design for containerized data centers named "DSX POD" at the GTC conference in Berlin, stating that installation time could drop from six months to 14 days at a prepared site—excluding site power, connectivity, and other infrastructure preparation—with the system scheduled for availability in early 2027, according to The Register.
The design combines seven liquid-cooled "Vera Rubin" compute racks using "Spectrum-X" networking, with partners handling connection, integration, and testing in modular containers prior to delivery.
In the robotics segment, Nvidia showcased the humanoid platform "Agile ONE SN" from German company Agile Robots, scheduled for early 2027, as well as small "Microducks" robots from Pollen Robotics, which CEO Jensen Huang interacted with on stage.
Paul Miller, an analyst at Forrester, stated that Nvidia invested nearly $10 billion in Europe over the past year, highlighting 14 startup investments during Huang's tour, as companies race to reduce data center deployment times amid rising demand for operational capacity required by AI models.
What Do These Terms Mean?
