Nscale aims to raise up to $3 billion in an initial public offering that could launch this month, according to The Next Web.
Microsoft and Anthropic represent about 85% of the company's contracts, according to the IPO filing, and the offering comes after Microsoft withdrew from an agreement to be the anchor tenant for the company's first UK data center in Loughton, Essex.
Nscale said it remains committed to the site and is considering power sources and other locations in the UK, after local authorities warned that the site might not receive electricity from the grid until the 2030s.
Data indicates that the company's main site in Norway is six months behind schedule, and that only 6.4 MW of a planned 30 MW data center is operational, according to Bloomberg.
