Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority announced doubling its investment fund managed by Oraseya Capital from AED 500 million to AED 1 billion, in a step aimed at accelerating investment in artificial intelligence, fintech, and future technologies inside and outside the emirate.
The Authority increased the maximum investment limit per company from $3 million to $6 million, granting the fund greater capacity to support companies during their advanced growth stages rather than limiting itself to early rounds.
The Authority expanded the fund's scope beyond UAE-linked companies to strategically relevant global companies, aiming to attract promising technologies and talent to Dubai and connect them with the local business ecosystem.
Since its launch in November 2023, the fund has supported 66 active companies that raised a total funding of $1.1 billion, reflecting its activity during a period that was not easy for startup funding in the region.
