Endeavor raises $320 million to support startups outside Silicon Valley
Endeavor Catalyst closed its fifth fund at $320 million, bringing its total assets under management to over $850 million.

Endeavor Catalyst announced the closure of its fifth fund at $320 million, bringing its total assets under management to more than $850 million.
The fund invests alongside lead investors in companies founded by Endeavor network members, with the fund's contribution typically ranging between $1 million and $3 million per deal, according to TechCrunch. This means that the fund does not lead rounds itself, but rather enters as a partner alongside a lead investor in each deal.
The organization stated that its five funds have so far invested in 437 companies across 44 markets, including 83 companies whose current valuation exceeds $1 billion, in addition to 39 exits that included 11 initial public offerings (IPOs). These numbers show that a large portion of the organization's portfolio has reached advanced stages of growth.
The fund's closure comes at a time when venture capital funds are leaning toward focusing on San Francisco, while Endeavor bets on founders in other markets, with its portfolio including markets in the Middle East as well as emerging markets across several continents.
