Minerva Raises $20 Million for AI Marketing Agents

Minerva has raised $20 million to develop AI agents that perform identity resolution covering 270 million consumers, according to an AdExchanger report.

The product includes an "agentic data engineer" built using OpenAI that connects CRM and warehouse data, in addition to an "agentic data scientist" currently under development.

The report noted that Ramp recorded a marketing-qualified lead rate around 80% higher over the first three months, while Wander achieved a return on ad spend 3.4 times higher than broad campaigns on Meta—figures provided by the clients themselves.

The company seeks to sell an operating layer that unifies data and campaign execution in a single interface, rather than relying on separate tools for each marketing task.

What do these terms mean?

Identity resolution: A database that connects an individual's information from different sources to recognize that they are the same customer across every channel.

AI agent: Software that uses an artificial intelligence model to perform multiple steps automatically rather than just answering a question.

Marketing-qualified lead: A person who has shown sufficient interest in the product to warrant follow-up by the sales team.

Return on ad spend: The revenue generated for every unit spent on advertising, used to compare campaign efficiency.
