Qatar welcomed 2.614 million visitors via land, air, and sea ports in the first nine months of 2026, with the GCC accounting for 40.9% of arrivals at 1.069 million visitors.

Qatar welcomed approximately 2.614 million visitors through land, air, and sea ports during the period from January to September 2026, according to a statement issued by "Qatar Tourism".
The number of arrivals in September alone reached 276,000, a 1.1% increase compared to the same month last year.
GCC countries topped the list of source markets for visitors at 40.9%, with 1.069 million visitors, followed by Asia and Oceania at 21%, and Europe at 20.6%.
The figures show the Asian share surpassing the European share during the first nine months of the year, with the GCC remaining the largest source market for visitors to Qatar.
