British Airways to resume Dubai flights on 3 November as Gulf routes stay shut
British Airways plans to resume Dubai flights on 3 November, while Emirates runs one daily Dubai-Bahrain flight and Dubai-Kuwait remains fully suspended.

British Airways plans to resume flights to Dubai on 3 November, the first partial return after a broad suspension, but it will not return to Abu Dhabi before the 2027-2028 winter season.
Emirates operates one daily flight between Dubai and Bahrain, while Dubai-Kuwait flights remain fully suspended, reflecting continued restrictions on the Gulf carrier's network.
Wizz Air is cancelling all its flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai during the winter season, a step that further narrows the options available to travellers in the region.
Other carriers' suspensions run to different dates: KLM remains suspended until 27 March 2027, Cathay Pacific until 31 January 2027 and Air Canada until the end of March 2027.
What do these terms mean?
Flight suspension: A temporary halt to the operation of a given air route, which may be caused by security, economic or operational crises.
Winter season: An airline operating schedule that usually runs from October to March of the following year.
Route network: The total set of routes and destinations operated by an airline or an alliance of airlines.
