The "Aqar Exit" platform, specializing in real estate assignments in Egypt, announced the results of its second monthly report for the assignment market index, which tracks supply and demand trends for existing real estate contracts during last September.

The report revealed 35,184 new purchase requests recorded compared to 3,618 new units added to the platform, with average daily purchase requests rising 58% to 1,060 requests, and average weekly closed deals increasing 148% to 85 deals.

The total number of units published or under review reached 8,534 units as of October 8, 2026, with an estimated market value of EGP 124 billion, while the total number of closed deals since launch reached 638 deals worth EGP 8.8 billion, 404 of which were closed during the last month.

The report showed that units valued at less than three million EGP attract 11.1 purchase requests per unit, compared to 2.2 requests for units exceeding 20 million EGP, while the proportion of buyers contacting from Gulf phone numbers reached 13.3% of total buyers, rising to 14.8% among new buyers.

What Do These Terms Mean?

Real Estate Assignments: The sale of an existing real estate unit contract from the original buyer to a new buyer in exchange for transferring the remaining rights and obligations.

Fractional Ownership: A system in which more than one person buys a share in a single property and shares its usage or returns.

Estimated Market Value: An estimated price for a property based on the market, not necessarily the final selling price.

Cash Liquidity: Funds available for purchase or payment; a decline in liquidity limits the buyer's ability to complete the transaction.
