India's Tessolve Raises $75 Million Led by Vector Line Capital

India-based Tessolve, a company specializing in semiconductor engineering services, has raised $75 million in a late-stage funding round led by US-based Vector Line Capital, with participation from existing investors TPG and Novo Tellus Capital Partners, according to Dealroom citing PTI.

The Hero Electronix-backed company plans to use the funds for strategic acquisitions that will enhance its current capabilities, expand its services, and strengthen its global presence. The round marks Vector Line's first investment in India, a firm that invests exclusively in semiconductors and the chip supply chain.

To date, Tessolve has raised a total of $265 million. At $75 million, this round ranks among the largest late-stage funding rounds for a connected devices company in India, placing it in the top 10% of 227 similar recorded deals.

The funding reflects growing investor appetite for India's semiconductor services sector at a time when the country seeks to build a domestic chip industry and expand its associated supply chain. The round comes amid a broader wave of late-stage investments in Indian deep-tech companies.
