Google Launches Gemini Business Hub for Small Businesses
Google announced a business hub within the Gemini app that integrates Ads, Workspace, Canva, Wix, content tools, and financial analysis, rolling out globally in phases.

On October 20, Google announced a new business hub within the Gemini app to help small business owners, freelancers, and micro-entrepreneurs create marketing campaigns, organize visual identity, and analyze finances. The tools were showcased during the 15th edition of the Entrepreneurship Fair organized by Sebrae-SP, and have begun gradually reaching app users around the world, according to Exame.
The hub works as a single dashboard connecting business owners to Google tools, including Perfil da Empresa (Business Profile), Google Ads, and Google Workspace, in addition to partner apps such as Canva and Wix. The company's smart visual identity feature allows businesses to save their logo, colors, fonts, and brand guidelines once, and then generate matching images, ads, and videos using the Nano Banana 2.1 model, while the financial analysis tool automates the creation of reports and tracking dashboards from invoice images, spreadsheets, and financial files.
Regina Chamma, Director of Google Customer Solutions in Brazil, stated that artificial intelligence gives small business owners who lack working capital or a specialized team faster access to knowledge. She added that 82% of Brazilians use at least one AI tool, with 71% using them for personal tasks and 41% for professional tasks. According to the Horizonte em Foco 2026 study by Google Cloud and IDC, the percentage of small and medium enterprises in Latin America with specific AI plans rose from 34% in 2025 to 77% in 2026, with 48% having AI agent projects under implementation or deployment.
Chama noted that a digital presence precedes a paid campaign, as a small business owner can update their Google Business Profile by displaying services, photos, operating hours, and payment methods without a website, something that is growing in importance with the spread of AI-powered search and agents executing tasks. She stated that Google's tools and platforms, including advertising, apps, and YouTube, helped drive 230 billion reais in economic activity in Brazil in 2025, a figure that includes the total of these operations, not AI or small businesses alone.
