UBS Selects Newmont, Barrick, and Franco-Nevada Among Gold Stocks
UBS named Newmont as its top large-cap gold stock, followed by Barrick, Endeavour Mining, SSR Mining, Skeena, and Franco-Nevada, amid expectations of rising 2027 costs.

UBS has selected Newmont as the top large-cap gold stock on its list, followed by Barrick, Endeavour Mining, SSR Mining, Skeena Resources, and Franco-Nevada, according to Adaletica.
The bank stated that gold miners' margins remain attractive as long as the metal's price stays above $4,000 per ounce.
It noted that unit costs will see an increase in 2027, making stock selection within the sector more critical than relying solely on the rise of the metal itself.
The bank did not disclose price targets for the mentioned stocks, limiting itself to ranking its selections within the gold mining sector.
