Saudi Tadawul rises 0.45% to 9,882 points despite fewer gainers

The Saudi Tadawul All Share Index closed Monday, 2 November 2026, up 0.45% at 9,882.85 points, compared with Sunday's previous close of 9,838 points, supported by gains in leading stocks, led by SABIC, which rose 2.26%, and Saudi Aramco, which gained 0.69%.

The rise came despite broad market weakness, as declining stocks outnumbered gainers by 164 to 95, meaning gains were concentrated in a limited number of large companies.

The market executed three negotiated deals worth SAR 49 million during the session. Foreign institutions recorded net buying of SAR 567.7 million in the market last week, according to Argaam data.

Trading Economics reported that the index "rose to 9,883 points on 2 November", a level consistent with the market close. The index's rise comes as regional markets diverged amid falling oil prices.
