Northwood Space raised $375 million in a Series C round at a $2 billion valuation, aimed at expanding production of satellite communications antennas.

Northwood Space raised $375 million in a Series C funding round it announced on November 2, bringing the company's valuation to $2 billion.
The company makes Portal phased-array antennas and Prism parabolic-dish antennas, used in command and control and high-throughput ground links.
The round aims to expand antenna production and increase headcount, according to a report by SpaceNews.
Chief Executive Bridget Mendler said Northwood built 29 antenna units over the past year and is targeting hundreds of units. The Portal antenna can communicate with six satellites, while Prism is dedicated to a high-throughput link with one satellite at a time.
