The Beitak fi Misr project opens registration on 10 November for about 4,000 residential units directed at Egyptians abroad in eight cities, according to Aleqaria.
The announced cities include New Alamein, New Cairo, El Shorouk, 6th of October, Sheikh Zayed and the New Administrative Capital, alongside other cities within the third phase.
The project requires a minimum transfer of $5,000, with payment plans of 100% or 50%, according to the announced terms.
The initiative aims to convert Egyptians' savings abroad into housing inside the country, through units in new cities and payment plans suited to their foreign-currency remittances.
What do these terms mean?
Transfer minimum: The minimum amount the buyer pays from outside Egypt in foreign currency to complete the booking.
Payment plans: Ways of paying the unit price, whether by paying the full amount at once or in two payments or instalments.
Egyptians abroad: Egyptian citizens residing outside the country, targeted by housing programmes with hard-currency payment terms.
