Nvidia Launches Open Nemotron Model with 120 Billion Parameters
Nvidia launched the open "Nemotron 3.5 Super VL" model with 120 billion parameters, stating it is five times faster than its closest competitors, alongside two smaller models for edge devices.

Nvidia announced the release of "Nemotron 3.5 Super VL", an open multimodal artificial intelligence model featuring 120 billion parameters, according to the company's blog.
The company stated that the model runs five times faster than the best model in its class, offering an advantage in latency and operating costs.
It added that it also launched the "Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B-A9B" model for local RTX and DGX Spark devices, with plans to make the 4GB "Bolt E4B" version available on October 23.
Enterprises can fine-tune the models and host them on their own servers, and the company noted that entities customizing them include Scale AI, Mercor, and AI21.
What do these terms mean?
