Meta Plans to Raise $95 Billion to Expand Its AI Infrastructure
Meta announced a $35 billion stock offering and an additional selling program of up to $60 billion, in its largest equity fundraising in history to expand its artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Meta announced plans on October 26, 2026, to raise up to $95 billion through a stock offering, marking the largest fundraising of its kind in the company's history, according to reports by The Straits Times citing Reuters. The company said it launched public offerings worth about $35 billion in common and preferred stock.
Meta added that it intends to launch a separate at-the-market selling program of up to $60 billion after its new non-voting Class C shares begin trading, which is expected in the first quarter of 2027, while confirming that the timing and terms of the program have not yet been finalized.
Nvidia, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and Broadcom expressed interest in investing up to $5 billion in total in Class A shares, and Nvidia said it would invest $3 billion in the offering. Meta plans to deploy Nvidia Vera Rubin platforms, Vera CPUs, and Spectrum-X and BlueField-4 networking.
The company explained that its spending on artificial intelligence affected its cash flow, as it recorded a cash burn of $2.12 billion in the third quarter—its first negative free cash flow in more than a decade—and raised its capital expenditure forecast to a range between $135 billion and $145 billion. Meta pledged nearly $825 billion in future spending, mostly for data centers and AI infrastructure.
