Qatar's Shura Council refers cloud computing bill to committee
Qatar's Shura Council sent the cloud computing bill to the Health, Public Services and Environment Committee for study, without publishing the text or voting.

Qatar's Shura Council referred the government's draft law on cloud computing to the Health, Public Services and Environment Committee for study and report during its session held on 2 November 2026.
The committee is expected to study the text and return its report to the Council, in a step preceding any debate or vote on the bill.
The Council also referred the draft general budget of the state for 2027 and the draft law approving it to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, in accordance with Article 135.
No text of the cloud computing bill was published and no vote was taken on it, meaning the referral does not mean the law has been approved yet.
