GenRobot AI discloses $100m Series A+ for robot training data
GenRobot AI disclosed a $100m Series A+ closed in the third quarter, with SAIC Motor and Baidu among investors, to fund robot training-data collection.

Beijing-based GenRobot AI disclosed a $100 million Series A+ round that closed in the third quarter of 2026 and was announced on 2 November, according to Times of AI. The company collects training data for robots.
Industrial investors included SAIC Motor, Baidu, Malaysia's Eastworlds, Shoucheng Holdings and humanoid robot maker Galbot. Times of AI, citing TechNode, said financial investors also joined the round.
The company sells systems that record what a person sees and how their hands and body move during household, manufacturing and logistics tasks, then turns those recordings into data that can be used to train and test robots.
The company did not disclose a valuation and did not say how it would use the proceeds. Times of AI, citing Chinese reports, said GenRobot was founded in May 2025, has raised more than $300 million in total and works with more than 30 AI companies.
