Oman's OMRAN Group signed agreements exceeding $318 million, covering Phase 4 of Yiti Hills and the expansion of Madinat Al Irfan, as part of plans to develop tourism and residential projects.

Oman's OMRAN Group, the government's executive arm for tourism development in the Sultanate, signed agreements worth over $318 million (approximately OMR 122 million) to develop tourism and residential projects, according to reports by "GCC Business News" and "Oman Observer".
The package covers Phase 4 of the "Yiti Hills" and "Yiti Oasis" projects, alongside the expansion of Madinat Al Irfan. The value of the Yiti phase, in partnership with "Aurelian Development", reaches $203 million (around OMR 78 million), spanning an area of nearly 200,000 square meters.
The Yiti phase includes a five-star hotel resort and 490 residential units, boosting the supply of residential housing and hotel services in the area.
Meanwhile, the Madinat Al Irfan project, in collaboration with "Grova Development", a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Group, is valued at approximately $115 million (OMR 44.5 million). This expansion comes at a time when Gulf nations are moving toward injecting larger investments into the tourism sector as part of economic diversification plans.
