Tractian Raises $130 Million at $1.4 Billion Valuation for Industrial AI
Tractian raised $130 million in a Series D round led by Sapphire Ventures and M&G Catalyst at a $1.4 billion valuation to expand its physical AI platform in factories.

Tractian, a company specializing in physical AI for asset-intensive industries, raised $130 million in a Series D funding round led by Sapphire Ventures, with co-lead participation from M&G Catalyst, bringing its valuation to $1.4 billion.
The company stated that the round saw participation from new and existing investors, including N47, General Catalyst, Bosch Ventures, 53 Stations, Monashees, Endeavor Catalyst, Norte Ventures, and Y Combinator, according to its announcement.
The company's platform relies on vibration, ultrasound, and other sensors to collect machine data, then transforms it into a root-cause diagnosis of faults and a recommended action plan for the operator, drawing on one of the largest industrial failure datasets.
Tractian says more than 2,000 facilities worldwide use its technology, including Eli Lilly, McKesson, Whirlpool, Coca-Cola bottling plants, Cummins, and Embraer. It is headquartered in Atlanta and has offices in Monterrey, São Paulo, and Poland.
