Meta AI Assistant Surpasses One Billion Active Users Worldwide

Meta announced that its smart assistant, "Meta AI," has surpassed the threshold of one billion monthly active users, a move that makes it the most widely adopted conversational AI system globally, ahead of rivals ChatGPT and Gemini.

Meta officials attribute this rapid growth to the direct integration of the smart assistant into the company's most used applications. "Meta AI" is now available in WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger, giving it access to a user base of more than three billion people across these apps.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg noted that the assistant is now capable of answering questions, editing images, and writing text in over 40 languages, adding that the company plans to expand its capabilities to include video processing by the end of the year.
