Brent Touches $110 as Red Sea Supply Fears Escalate

Brent crude futures rose to $110 a barrel for the first time since May, before settling at $109.86, up 3.7%, according to CNBC.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose to settle at $101.41 a barrel, recording a 3.5% gain, following mounting concerns over global oil supplies.

This surge came after Saudi Arabia intercepted missiles over the Red Sea, including one heading toward the Yanbu oil export port, raising concerns over the security of energy routes in the region.

These movements reflect growing pressure on energy markets, as traders watch for the impact of regional tensions on supply flows and prices in the coming period.
