Abu Dhabi Launches TAMM Global to Export Its Smart Government Services Worldwide
The Department of Government Enablement in Abu Dhabi announced the establishment of state-owned TAMM Global to develop, manage, and globally license its AI-powered government services platform.

The Department of Government Enablement in Abu Dhabi announced the establishment of Abu Dhabi Digital Services Company "TAMM Global," in a move aimed at expanding the AI-powered government platform "TAMM" into markets outside the emirate. The decision comes in implementation of the directives of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council.
Under its founding law, the new company is authorized to develop, manage, and deliver an integrated ecosystem of digital services, including digital government services, through owning, operating, and enhancing specialized platforms, their capabilities, and infrastructure. It will also manage and develop the "TAMM" platform, hold the intellectual property rights associated with its activities, conduct studies and research in the digital services sector, execute training and qualification programs for Emirati talent, and build strategic partnerships with local and international entities.
Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement, stated that "TAMM" was established in Abu Dhabi to improve the community's quality of life, and today serves millions of users, forming an essential part of how individuals and businesses interact with the government. He added that the launch of "TAMM Global" builds on this success by making the capabilities proven in Abu Dhabi available to governments seeking to improve outcomes for their people.
Since its launch in 2005, the "TAMM" platform has consolidated more than 1,200 government and private services into a unified digital portal. Authorities state that it saves each user about nine visits to service centers annually, equivalent to approximately 12 hours per person or company. Customer satisfaction reached 94.5% compared to 78% in 2022 prior to integrating AI into the app, while also reducing service delivery costs by 30%, according to the source. "TAMM Global" will operate as an independent private company capable of collaborating directly with governments and institutions around the world. It will license the platform infrastructure and implement the execution methodologies and expertise that enabled Abu Dhabi to build and operate "TAMM" on a large scale, with the ability to adapt services to local laws and regulatory frameworks. Abu Dhabi describes this step as a milestone in its endeavor to become the first government in the world to adopt AI at the core of its operations.
