Google's Universal Cart Reaches All Gemini Users in the US
Google's Universal Cart is now available to all Gemini and AI Search mode users in the US, aggregating purchases from multiple stores and tracking prices.
Google announced that its unified shopping cart, "Universal Cart," is now available to all users in the United States via Gemini and Google's AI Search mode, following an initial showcase at its developer conference in May.
The cart saves products from multiple stores, tracks price drops and restocks, displays promo codes, and enables checkout via Google Wallet or transferring items to the store's own cart.
The tool aims to reduce purchase steps when a user searches for a product and compares different stores, gathering their selections in one place instead of repeating the search process at each store.
Google stated that it plans to add Gmail and YouTube to the cart later, though it did not specify a timeline, according to an ExchangeWire report.
What Do These Terms Mean?
