Oracle Integrates Its Applications and Data into ChatGPT

OpenAI and Oracle announced that they are collaborating to bring Oracle applications and data into ChatGPT, in a move that expands the use of AI tools within the enterprise work environment, according to an announcement published by OpenAI.

The two companies stated that they are using OpenAI models to power new products from Oracle, and that they are working on developing "Oracle AI Workspace" within ChatGPT, a product aimed at bringing work tools and data together in one place.

OpenAI explained that Oracle recorded around 130,000 active users for ChatGPT, and more than 95,000 active users for Codex, reflecting the spread of generative AI tools among technical teams.

The collaboration comes at a time when enterprise software companies are racing to integrate intelligent assistants into their products, while OpenAI seeks to expand its presence beyond consumer applications into large corporate systems.
