Google Ads Allows Multiplying New Customer Value Up to 5x
Google Ads has added multipliers from 1.1x to 5x for new customer value, along with modes for re-acquisition, loyalty, and retention across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max.

Google Ads has added multipliers for new customer value ranging from 1.1x to 5x, allowing advertisers to assign greater weight to acquiring a new customer compared to a returning one.
The multipliers work across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and Demand Gen in Google Ads and SA360, according to what the platform published regarding the new update.
The platform also added modes for re-acquisition, loyalty, and retention exclusively in Performance Max, Search, and Shopping, and expanded the high-value mode to include Shopping.
The platform is starting to roll out these tools globally this month, giving marketers more precise control over balancing the acquisition of new customers with retaining existing ones.
What Do These Terms Mean?
