Ukraine: SpaceX Limits Starlink Speed and Disrupts Drone Missions

Ukrainian officials said that SpaceX imposed a speed restriction on Starlink terminals while in motion without prior announcement, according to the Ukrinform agency.

The agency reported that the restriction affected the military "Starshield" package and led to the disruption of drone missions on the front line, at a time when Ukrainian units rely on satellite communication for field coordination.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stated that it is in contact with the United States, SpaceX, and NATO partners regarding this step, according to the same source.

SpaceX has not publicly confirmed the change so far, and the decision has not been attributed to any entity, leaving its motives unexplained, according to the agency.
