Zelensky: Starlink and Starshield Return to Required Speeds
Zelensky said Starlink and Starshield returned to their previous speeds after more than a week of restrictions, with the Ministry of Defense recording speeds exceeding 400 kilometers per hour.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video address that Starlink and Starshield services had returned to pre-restriction speeds.
Zelensky explained that the restoration began overnight and that speeds became sufficient by the following morning, following a briefing from Minister of Defense Yevhen Khmara.
Khmara stated that monitoring systems at the Ministry of Defense recorded speeds exceeding 400 kilometers per hour with a stable connection, noting that service restoration is vital for drones, logistics, and frontline communications.
The Irish Times reported that restrictions first appeared on October 14, reducing speeds to around 160 kilometers per hour or less. The Ministry of Defense did not announce whether service was fully restored, nor does Ukraine disclose the maximum speeds of these systems.
