Zelensky: Washington Has Resumed Intelligence Sharing with Kyiv
Zelensky announced that Washington has resumed intelligence sharing with Kyiv after a pause, expressing hope for negotiations this week.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the United States has resumed military and security intelligence sharing with Ukraine after a pause that lasted "a period of time," in an interview with the "Meet the Press" program on NBC, reported by the "Kyiv Post" via "Bloomberg."
Zelensky expressed hope that bilateral negotiations with U.S. officials would take place during the current week, following a period of tension over battlefield targeting rules and potential ceasefire mechanisms.
The "Washington Post" reported on October 15 that U.S. intelligence officials warned Ukraine that Washington would immediately halt intelligence sharing if its forces continued long-range strikes on Russian oil refineries and petrochemical facilities, and the warning was officially conveyed to Ukraine's embassy in Washington.
Prior to the resumption of sharing, Zelensky said that Ukrainian forces had not received advance warnings of Russian ballistic missile launches toward Kyiv for two consecutive nights, leading to damage to energy facilities and water and electricity outages in parts of the capital.
