Bedrock Robotics raised $600 million in a Series C funding round at a $4.1 billion valuation, bringing its total funding to nearly $1 billion.

Bedrock Robotics raised $600 million in a Series C funding round at a post-money valuation of $4.1 billion, according to platform The Next Web.
The round was led by CapitalG and Emergence Capital, with first-time participation from US Innovative Technology Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Temasek, alongside existing investors including Nvidia.
The round brought the company's total funding to nearly $1 billion, up from a valuation of $1.75 billion last February when it raised $270 million.
The company retrofits existing heavy machinery with autonomous driving systems, starting with excavators. Since mid-August, its excavators have been performing paid work without an operator on real job sites, and it plans to expand their deployment.
