The U.S. Space Systems Command awarded six companies purchase agreements under the Commercial Augmentation Space Reserve program in space domain awareness, without disclosing the names of the companies.
The Command explained that the agreements come under the ACCESS contract and establish an initial rapid-response capability in space domain awareness.
It added that this capability will be used to support joint commercial operations.
