India's Sunday Proptech Acquires 170 Fletcher Hotels
Sunday Proptech, an arm of India's Prism, has agreed to acquire 100% of the Dutch group Fletcher Hotels' 170 properties across the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, for an undisclosed price.

International hotel operator Sunday Proptech has agreed to acquire all shares of Fletcher Hotels from its current owners, Egeria and Fletcher's management team, in a transaction whose value was not disclosed by the parties.
Fletcher, one of the largest hotel groups in the Netherlands, operates 170 three- and four-star hotels in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, employing around 5,800 people. The deal places Fletcher under the umbrella of Sunday Proptech, which owns brands such as Sunday Hotels, Palette Hotels, Motel 6, Studio 6, and the holiday rental platform Belvilla, alongside businesses belonging to India's OYO group.
This marks the Indian company's second major investment in the Netherlands within two months, following its announcement in September of a significant ownership stake in boutique hotel company Sircle Collection in Amsterdam. Mark Wetzels of Egeria stated that Sunday Proptech and its shareholders are ideal partners to support Fletcher in its next phase of growth. Fletcher has completed more than 60 acquisitions in the Netherlands and Germany over the past decade.
A spokesperson for Sunday Proptech welcomed Fletcher's joining, describing it as a strong company and a well-known brand in the Netherlands, and stated that the company looks forward to working with its management team to support growth. Prism Group had previously received approval for an initial public offering (IPO) worth up to 66.5 billion Indian rupees, at a reported valuation between $7 billion and $8 billion.
