The European Commission has accepted Temu's plan to address its risk assessment violation under the Digital Services Act, according to a report published by the "Irish Examiner".
The Commission set a four-month deadline for Temu to implement the plan and required it to complete an interim risk assessment by November 30, 2026, alongside undergoing an independent audit.
The €200 million fine, imposed in May 2026, remains in effect.
The acceptance comes after the Commission identified a violation in the risk assessment mandated by law for large platforms.
