Real Estate Registry Opens Registration for 28,547 Plots in Riyadh Starting Sunday

The Saudi General Authority for Real Estate will begin in-kind registration operations for approximately 28,547 real estate plots in the Riyadh region on Sunday, October 25, as part of a new phase aiming to enhance the reliability of property ownership and develop the real estate database, continuing through the end of Thursday, January 28, 2027.

The phase includes parts of areas belonging to Al-Aziziyah, Al-Ha'ir, and Al-Sulay municipalities in Riyadh City, alongside plots in several governorates and centers. The announced locations include parts of Al-Waha neighborhood in Al-Hariq, Qaryat Al-Nuhaytiah neighborhood, and Old Al-Hayaniyah neighborhood, as well as New Industrial, Sharaf, and Subdivision No. 198 neighborhoods in Jalajil, Al-Shifa, Al-Shurouq, and Al-Ghuroub neighborhoods in Rawdat Sudair, and part of Al-Yasmin neighborhood in Arwa.

It also covers plots in Al-Artawiyah within Al-Nakheel, Al-Andalus, Al-Masyaf, Al-Fayha, Al-Rawdah, Al-Khaleej, Al-Worood, Sultana, Al-Saada, Al-Ghadir, Al-Nahda, and Al-Faisaliyah neighborhoods, in addition to plots in Al-Jamsh, Al-Qasab, Al-Quway'iyah, Al-Majma'ah, Al-Rwaydah, Rimah, Sajir, Dhurma, Afif, and Hawtat Sudair. The Authority emphasized that listing the name of a neighborhood does not imply the inclusion of all its properties, but is limited to the specific locations and plots specified in the announcement and approved maps.

Property owners can submit registration applications via the Real Estate Registry platform or service centers, provided the property is located within the announced scope and requirements are met, including an electronic title deed issued by the Ministry of Justice, a valid national ID or residency permit (Iqama), a valid commercial registration for companies, and a valid power of attorney when applying through an agent. Registration results in the issuance of a property number and a title registration certificate for each unit, enhancing the documentation of ownership data and transparency in real estate transactions.
