Dar Global: Saudi Arabia Accounts for Half of Our Portfolio and We Plan Three New Projects
The CEO of Dar Global stated that Saudi Arabia represents around half of the portfolio, with plans for three new projects, including two in Diriyah, and a 149% H1 profit growth.

Ziad El Chaar, CEO of London-listed Dar Global, said that Saudi Arabia represents about half of the real estate company's portfolio, with the Gulf region accounting for around 80%, according to an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat.
He explained that the company is planning three new Saudi projects—two in Diriyah and one in Jeddah—in partnership with new international brands, after its projects in the Kingdom attracted buyers from dozens of nationalities.
The "Wadi Safar" project in Diriyah spans an area of nearly 3 million square meters and includes around 500 mansions within a gated community overlooking golf courses, green spaces, and valleys, with prices ranging between 15 million and 160 million riyals.
The company's net profit recorded a growth of 149% in the first half of 2026, with revenue rising 66%, driven by previous sales and construction progress, while equity approaches $500 million and return on equity reached around 25% in 2025.
