India's Boldfit Raises Over 400 Crore Rupees to Expand Its Retail Stores

Indian sports and fitness brand Boldfit has raised over 400 crore rupees in a Series B round led by Bharat Value Fund, according to IMAGES BOF.

The Bharat Value Fund is managed by The Wealth Company Alternates, and existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners also participated in the round.

The Bengaluru-based company had previously raised 110 crore rupees in a Series A round from Bessemer in 2024, making this new round significantly larger.

Boldfit plans to use the funds for nationwide retail expansion, product development, manufacturing, and selective acquisitions in a rapidly growing Indian fitness market.

What Do These Terms Mean?

Crore: A common counting unit in India equal to ten million; thus, 400 crore means four billion rupees.

Series B Round: A funding round that follows Series A, typically used to scale business operations and enter new markets.

Retail Expansion: Increasing the number of stores and sales outlets to cover broader geographical areas.
