WARC advertising research platform projected that global advertising spend will rise 11.9% to $1.34 trillion in 2026, with growth slowing to 8.4% in 2027, according to the CFO Tech Australia website citing WARC Media.
Forecasts indicated that social media advertising will grow 21.3% to $394.6 billion, search advertising will rise 14.2% to $295.7 billion, while retail advertising will grow 14.3% to $202.1 billion.
WARC stated that these three channels alone will account for 66.4% of global spend, reflecting the concentration of budgets in a limited number of platforms.
