IAS Detects Hidden Clicks in Reader Apps Exceeding Normal Rates by 25 Times
IAS has detected hidden clicks in reader apps operating via a hidden browser, with a success rate nearly 25 times that of baseline traffic.

IAS has detected a hidden click network inside reader apps operating through a hidden browser that generates clicks and scrolling without the user's knowledge, according to a report published by PPC Land.
The company stated that the click success rate in this traffic reached approximately 25 times compared to baseline traffic, as part of a scheme named "Genisys" that used nearly 500 AI-generated domains.
It added that the scheme spoofed app bundle IDs in a manner that attributed the traffic to nearly 25 million devices.
The findings emphasized that they are vendor-issued measurements, lack published methodology in places, and have not been independently verified.
